Byron Bay Farmstay - Location & directions

From the north (e.g. Brisbane / Gold Coast), heading south

Approx. travel time from Brisbane: 2 hr; from Gold Coast: 1 hr

1.       Heading south on the Pacific Highway, drive past the exit to Byron Bay (i.e. Ewingsdale Rd) and continue south for 5.5km.

2.       Take the left exit to Bangalow / Lismore (500m), & merge on Granuaille Street (1.1km).

3.       Turn left at the roundabout at the top of Bangalow village onto Byron Street (which becomes Bangalow Road) and head down through the main street of the village.
NB: Do not be misled by some GPSs (particularly Tom Tom) that incorrectly direct you to take the Lismore exit at the roundabout. You definitely want to head towards Byron Bay.

4.       Continue east on Bangalow Road (6km). Byron Bay Farmstay is on your right at 436 Bangalow Road, Byron Bay.

From the south, heading north

Approx. travel time from Ballina: 30 mins

1.       Heading north on the Pacific Highway, take the left exit to Bangalow / Lismore (500m).

2.       Turn right onto Bangalow Road.
NB: Do not be misled by some GPSs (particularly Tom Tom) that incorrectly direct you left through Bangalow village towards Lismore. You definitely want to head to Byron Bay.

3.       Continue east on Bangalow Road (4.9km). Byron Bay Farmstay is on your right at 436 Bangalow Road, Byron Bay.

From Byron Bay township (Jonson Street)

Approx. travel time: 5-10 mins

1.       Head south on Jonson Street (500m).

2.       Turn left onto Browning Street (150m).

3.       At the roundabout, take the 3^rd exit onto Bangalow Road (2.2km). 
NB: Bangalow Rd becomes Broken Head Rd just before the intersection near the Byron Bay Golf Course. You need to turn right at the intersection to stay on Bangalow Rd.
