What’s the trail like?

This trail is for intermediate/advanced mountain bikers. There is over 3km of track that flows through open paddock, forest gullies & timber plantation. The trail has a mixture of narrow track, loose tread & obstacles (rocks, roots etc). Mostly moderate gradient with some steep sections & tight corners. A good challenge & great fun!

Pump Track

Hone your skills & play around on the new pump track.  It’s also great for the kids to ride - we’re so pleased to be able to offer this!

So, what actually is a pump track??

Not really a trail, a pump track is a small dirt mountain bike/bmx course set up with numerous bumps, jumps, & berms designed to allow you to ride the course continuously without pedalling by using weight shifts (pumping) and gravity.

Hire bikes

Sunrise Cycles have provided awesome dual suspension bikes (Giant TranceX 29er) for us to hire out to riders ($50 for up to 3 hours).  Please let us know in advance if you are keen to hire a bike to avoid missing out!

The sun is out - time to ride!

The sun is out and working its magic on the trails.  The Byron Bay Farmstay Mountain Bike Park will be open this weekend (17 & 18 May).  At first the trail will be a little slippery in places but will improve over the weekend as fine weather is forecast for the entire weekend!  Brilliant!

Check-out our new movie on You Tube!

The movie shows some highlights of the trails at the Byron Bay Farmstay Mountain Bike Park.  Super-fun!
