What are the trails like? There is over 4km of singletrack that flows through open paddock, forest gullies & timber plantation. "Turkey Run" and "Holy Cow" are intermediate trails that have a mixture of narrow track, loose tread & obstacles (rocks, roots etc). Mostly moderate gradient with some steep sections & tight corners. Our first beginner trail, "Eagle Eye", is now open. The trail runs from the timber plantation up to near the trailhead and can be ridden in both directions. Our latest trail "Angry Ants" is under construction & will be ready to ride soon - awesome!

Pump track & skills tests
Hone your skills & play around on the pump track & our new skills tests. It’s also great for the kids to ride - we’re so pleased to be able to offer this!
So, what actually is a pump track??
Not really a trail, a pump track is a small dirt mountain bike/bmx course set up with numerous bumps, jumps, & berms designed to allow you to ride the course continuously without pedalling by using weight shifts (pumping) and gravity.
Sunrise Cycles have provided awesome dual suspension bikes for us to hire out to riders ($50 for up to 3 hours). Please let us know in advance if you are keen to hire a bike to avoid missing out! Hire bikes are currently not available - Sorry!

Mountain Bike Park
Amazing opportunity for Northern Rivers riders!
The annual 'Ride Day' was held last Sunday at the Byron Bay Farmstay Mountain Bike Park. What a brilliant day! Coffee, food, drinks, music plus the opportunity to test ride over 30 of the latest mountain bikes! The trails survived the storm on Saturday night and with a little sun were soon in brilliant condition. I had my first ride on a carbon bike, a bike with electronic suspension & a Santa Cruz - stoked! A big thanks to Sunrise Cycles & Transition Cycles for organising the demo bikes, & also to all those who helped with making the day such a blast!
